Some users say: Thanks to ChatGPT, it took just a few days to complete this online search website that can directly access the most relevant papers. Based on the "Large-scale Pre-trained Model" (Generative Pre-Training), ChatGPT has recently become a hot topic of interest. It is a new chatbot model released by OpenAI, the artificial intelligence research lab founded by Elon Musk, on November 30, 2022. ChatGPT can transform the learning task of a large amount of text data into a dialogue and question-answering task, providing answers at or above average levels, and can even complete tasks such as writing emails, video scripts, copywriting, translation, and coding.

ChatGPT as a Research Assistant

Despite the "ban" by industry leaders, more scholars have shown a strong interest in its intelligence. Many scholars propose that academic publishers should not view ChatGPT as a threat but should make good use of it by "transforming" it for proper use, which may enhance the productivity of researchers.
