It is said that Dario Amodei's first job after college was as a researcher at Baidu, but he left soon after and then spent 10 months at Google before joining OpenAI. The reason for his departure from OpenAI was somewhat similar to that of Musk. I see, I completely understand. It turns out that it was family members starting their own camp.

Currently, the Anthropic team consists of about 40 people, most of whom have participated in the development of the GPT-2 and GPT-3 models. The company's goal is to build reliable, interpretable, and controllable general artificial intelligence systems. Since its establishment, it has published 14 research papers, most of which are related to large-scale generative models and voice assistants. Anthropic has developed an AI chatbot named Claude, which was launched in the market in March.

I tried it out myself, and its basic functions are quite comparable to ChatGPT. Since it's a free trial version, some of the deeper features haven't been used yet, and its specific performance is yet to be seen.
